About
Mark Stolyar

As an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, I bring a unique blend of experience and expertise to my practice. I have experience working in a high school mental health setting which gives me a deep understanding of the challenges faced by adolescents and their families. I also have specialized experience in counseling clients who are dealing with neurodegenerative diseases, as well as providing support to their caregivers during this difficult time.

My journey to becoming a counselor has been shaped by my diverse background in healthcare. With 12 years of experience as a Doctor of Chiropractic, I have a comprehensive understanding of the mind-body connection and the importance of holistic health. I have seen first-hand how mental health can impact physical well-being as well as vice versa, and I bring this perspective to my counseling practice.

In addition to my work in healthcare, I have also spent 15 years teaching clients as a Pilates instructor. This experience has given me a unique insight into the power of movement and mindfulness in promoting overall wellness. I believe in a holistic approach to counseling that integrates physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

I am passionate about helping my clients navigate life's challenges and find healing and growth. With a compassionate and client-centered approach, I strive to create a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I am committed to empowering my clients to make positive changes in their lives and build resilience in the face of adversity.

In my practice, I aim to provide a warm and nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and supported on their journey towards healing and personal growth. I am dedicated to helping clients cultivate self-awareness, develop coping strategies, insight, and build meaningful connections with others.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you on your path to greater well-being and fulfillment.

I am available for online counseling sessions.
